Preservation Trust Company serves as a trustee or co-trustee for almost every type of trust in contemporary use. It carries on trust administration exclusively from the state of Nevada in the United States. It has no other offices in any other jurisdiction. All administration is carried out in Nevada and there are no back office operations anywhere else.
Preservation Trust Company does not manage investments of any sort. We are exclusively a trust company that holds title to property and participates as either a directed trustee with respect to investments, as the passive holder of entity ownership interests where the activity is conducted at the entity level by other persons, or as a co-trustee with investment responsibility exclusively residing in the other trustee.
On the other hand, Preservation Trust Company routinely serves as a distribution trustee, and is commonly vested with discretionary authority in this regard. It carries out such responsibilities in accordance with the fiduciary duties imposed on trustees and as specified in the trust instrument.
The team at Preservation Trust Company also has considerable experience with trusts that migrate to Nevada, especially via decanting. The team also has a deep knowledge of the issues associated with and changing landscape concerning NINGs and administers a number of such trusts. As noted elsewhere on this website international families, it is highly familiar with and quite comfortable in the establishment and administration of trusts that involve international families and assets.
