Neil has many years of experience in the management of trust companies and, perhaps, more importantly, in responding to the unique needs of settlors, beneficiaries, and their advisors from around the United States and the rest of the world. He is renowned for his mastery of Nevada trust law, as well as his attentiveness to client needs.

Neil is highly regarded in Nevada and global trust and estate planning circles. He has served as President of the Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council (SNEPC) and currently is the Chair of the Nevada branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the largest organization of estate planning professionals in the world. Neil has written numerous articles, some of which you will find on this website News/Articles and has also spoken at numerous conferences as well as participated in many webinars.

Megan is a critical link between our company and our Las Vegas community.  Prior to joining our team, Megan earned her doctorate in American history, specializing in family economics, and served Las Vegas as a renowned teacher.  Her research examined how families amassed intergenerational wealth through shrewd financial planning with advisors, lawyers, financial institutions, and accountants, often on different continents, to construct networks that preserved wealth all while balancing delicate family dynamics.  In addition to Megan’s publications on the topic, she has been invited to give numerous talks in the area of her expertise.
In sum, we are proud to have Megan as a board member and officer of the Company. Indeed, as a highly respected teacher in Las Vegas, she enhances our strong links with a variety of Las Vegas and Nevada communities, as well as plays an integral part in our dealings with our international clientele.

Jeff is among the world’s leading experts on multistate and multinational trusts and estates. In addition to teaching at Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he serves as the Centennial Professor of Law, he has represented numerous high net worth clients of his own as well as consulted with their professional advisors. In addition to having written numerous articles and books addressing cross border private wealth issues, he has had the honor of giving several distinguished lectures, including the Norton Rose Lecture at Oxford University in England and the Paolo Fresco Lecture  at the University of Genoa in Italy. He was also honored by being elected by other estate planning professionals to the Estate Planners Hall of Fame.

Jeff spends a great deal of time keeping abreast of, analyzing, and writing about emerging issues and techniques, both tax and non-tax that affect trusts and other private wealth management devices worldwide. His goal is to assist the clients of Preservation Trust Company with respect to issues that relate to cross-border tax, trusts, and asset protection.
