Fees
Because Preservation Trust Company does not manage investments, it does not charge fees along the lines of the traditional percentage of annual asset value. Rather, it charges a flat fee, regardless of the value of the assets held in trust. While each trust is unique and its unique features affect the fee charged, the typical fee will be quite low and ordinarily will not exceed a few thousand dollars annually. Furthermore, we commit to not raising our fee for three years when we take on a new trust. We also do not charge a fee for costs associated with opening the account; nor do we charge a fee on the termination of our administration. We are happy to discuss in greater detail what the charge would be if we were to administer a trust for you, if you are considering naming us as a trustee.
